We get our water from the Edwards Aquifer.

I happen to have a well and albeit we had probs with it this summer (had to replace motor, pump, holding tank), we were told the reason we didn't go dry was because the aquifer was recharged from rains that fell in North Texas. Just to be on the safe side though we did drill down 15 more feet.
