You’re still missing the point—no one on this board is suggesting that the response rate in the Bavituximab trial was caused by a placebo effect.

The question to ask about this trial is: How do you know how much efficacy, in any, was attributable to Bavituximab and how much was attributable to docetaxel?

The answer is: You don’t. This was yet another meaningless single-arm study where PPHM is touting the observed response rate relative to historical data.

PPHM already holds the World Record for this kind of BS. Evidently, they are trying hard to ensure that they keep the record.
