Why can't people think these things through?

Instead of complaining about why the news isn't being disseminated through normal investment channels, why not try to realize why they are using the channels they are?
Investment news services are aimed at specific audiences, new investors, the legitimate investment community, the business world.
Since these channels are not being used, then that is clearly not the target demographic that these information packets are aimed at.
The company has sold all of it's available stock, they therefore have no interest in attracting new investors. Until they have new shares to sell they would just as soon remain invisible to any uncommitted investors. They need to keep current investors at bay until they can arrange for a new supply of shares to sell. They are not participating in the legitimate business world, they are involved with a select set of entrenched investors that they are stringing along until they move into their next phase. These are the only people who are aware of these information tidbits, this is the target audience.
It isn't poor management, it is a very focused and efficient strategy. Forest and trees people, forest and trees.
