You did nothing wrong posting your alert. Just as I did nothing wrong when I posted DD or comments about a stock. It is all part of being on a team. We will be wrong more often than not, but every alert and comment can reduce our risk just a little. You aren't affecting my money - when I push the buy button, it is my responsibility, not yours.
