Ask a vet why that was.

and while you're at it, ask any fighter-jet pilot, from any time period, active or veteran, whether in peace or war, whether here or abroad, if he felt like he was at risk anytime he got in the cockpit?........and ask him how he felt during pilot training, and how many pilots died in accidents during training?
