Experts, make sense of this please.

Here we have the available amount of shares to short.
http://shortsqueeze.com/ShortQuote.php?symbol=geta&submit=Short+Quote

paid subscription, but I think this link is free since I've seen it here before.

This site has been brought into question. These guys are not my broker, but if they were they would give you all of the available info on short shares available at any giving time, appx, and how much the interest would be.

http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/ViewShortableStocks.php?cntry=usa&tag=United States&ib_entity=llc&ln=&b=GCS&e=GJW

just click GETA

For free, it gives you the appx availability of shares to short.

Currently it says there are 15,000 shares available.

I know that there is at least one alleged expert on this board, so can someone please tell me if looking at this info means that there are appx 6.5 million shorts out there. Because that's what it seems like to me, and it seems to me that if it's true, there are a whole lot of shares out there that need this stock to go down before it goes way up. It says that days to cover is .7. Which means the total shares short/avg volume. Seems like the less volume there is, the more time these guys have to cover, thus the price is falling in anticipation while all the longs are holding and shorts are covering. Where am I going with this? I don't know! Maybe this info is no good, but in my opinion we could be looking at a whole bunch of buys real fast when the shorts realize GETA ain't goin back to .40 cents, then a bunch of buys when we get news, then a bunch more when we get an official announcment, then we hear merger talks, then we have European approval, then FDA approval, then a bidding war starts to buy Genta for mucho dineros all while some are left scratching there head wondering why they ever sold. I'm sure I'll hear from my buddy how none of this makes sense. I say make up your own mind, I have!

Night,
Shaka
