The Twins have done well for a low budget organization. They were threatened with compaction for the 2002 season and responded by winning three straight division titles. They trade away all-stars ever year because they can't afford them once they are all-stars (ever heard of Ortiz?.. ;) and yet manage to win. That could end tomorrow, but you gotta admire teams that do it with a farm system and good trades instead of just buying their players (which most teams can't afford to do).
