It si quite a common practice for penny CEOs to advertise solely for the purpose of selling more stock. In other words, the stock was their product and flashy advertising was their marketing strategy along with grandiose PRs.

Just think about it; the best estimate I've seen is that SPNG has sold 2,500,000,000 shares. At an average price of just .08 thats $200,000,000.00!! I'd be willing to spend $100 Million to make $200 Million.
