Israel should stay out of the Iraqi melodrama as if it was a plague, IMHO. They stayed out when Iraq, in response to the UN sanctioned 1991 conflict lobbed scud missiles on it (interestingly, none in the UN demanded that all scud missiles be destroyed, after that conflict as a fair response to that transgression...). As for a response to the Taba attack, if they can find the responsible parties, they will go after them, bt they need Egyptian cooperation to do the right forensic search at the site, I wonder if Egypt will cooperate.
