very smart woman!... however I think algae will still have the center stage for a while as it will be decades before enough wind solar and nuclear power hits the grid and has the capability to be dispursed everywhere for charging of batteries... not to mention that everyone will have to migrate to new technology (electric cars) which will cost them money - what you're talking about may be the end game... in the distant future, but IMO pumping algae-derived fuel into existing technology will come first and be dominant for many years as the migration happens...
