US is only a fascade of democracy.
Standard operational procedure for Republican pary to pick a suitable figurehead, and install ultra-right wingers to make the actual policy. Democrats have done next to nothing standing up to it, so they have to shoulder the blame too.

Sad to hear Canada is letting Fox in, that's a giant step to the dark side.
