Zeev,
If VECO closes under $15.85, will you just toss it, or would you have a double down number? Would breaking it indicate to you that something serious is wrong with this merger? At what level would a buying opp occur? I know nothing about FEI, but Rob Douglass says he owns stock in it, and it is a good company, he tends to be a pretty thorough guy, in my experience.
