gnlb fails

has anyone seen a trial that has worked where the company originally had one primary endpoint in a trial but saw statistical significance in a secondary endpoint.

After doing this they do a large trial where they make the secondary endpoint, the primary endpoint.

Has this ever worked? this is not a rhetorical question. I can't remember a case where this was accomplished
