Can you show me one public announcement from the company that indicates they intend to be bought out or sell their assets?

What they have said, clearly, is this:

All but a few think they are waiting for the highest bidder. Some people still take the company at its word. In the past when someone would speculate about an early drill, etc, there were those that would adamantly point out what the company publicly said.

Well? That link I provided above is what the company said. Why doesn't their stated direction apply now when that's the defense many have leaned on in the past?
