50 years ago i was wrought with a fear of a military dictatorship in the USA.

The coming to understanding of the true nature of so many years of American imperialistic foreign policy.

Thoughts of the military-industrial complex. Of the war-based job dependence of the American
economy. And, yes, sadly war based intent of so much scientific technological invention.

Never did i conceive of an American bringing up the idea of a straight out
military coup, based on the policies of a president such as President Obama.

I know why i am here. Always have, when so many asked and suggested i should butt out.

As i have said many times before, because the USA is close to me. It is my mother's country. I have family there.

I don't want to see this great country lose it.

The USA has achieved the greatest power any country has ever achieved in the history of woan.

The only ever truly world military power.

It is very sad that my fears come up in this way now, to this suggested end.

That they should manifest today in talk of a military coup in the USA.
