Right wing Evangelicals ARE the base of today's GOP - they picked Sarah Palin. Need we say more? If the Evangelicals continue to exercise power in the GOP, they'll take the party down the tubes. As it is, the GOP has quickly become a minority party of the South - which is very sad but apparently what they want, just elderly white males.
