If I had the pipeline PPHM has and if I was CEO or CFO and I needed to raise cash, I would be in front of as many qualified investors as I could and I would be using as many contacts thru UTSW, Duke etc to get interest in the company. So when I did sell shelf shares, I would know I did my best to get full value for my shareholders. I don't think that has been the case. So the question is why not. Is the person not capable of doing the aforementioned or is the person just not doing the aforementioned. Either case, they would be replaced. The attitude of "the stock price will take care of itself" doesn't cut it with me.
And if the pipeline is that good (which I believe it is), it would not take that many investors to jump on board. Seems to me some folks are sandbagging it and want an incentive plan approved for their efforts (or lack thereof). And if you're so busy in the lab petting mice, someone else should be doing the job.
