I believe the volume today is in reaction to the show in Toronto last weekend, it is the premier show and I am sure Hughes exploration attended, looks like investors liked what they saw.
picked up a further 78,000 shares this morning before any spike, future additions will be from supporting the bid, I may wait another week or two and see if it retreats but the overhang is just about gone and with any voluime at all it is a teenager.
