NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - 09/28/09) - Prospect Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:PSEC - News) ("Prospect" or "Company") announced today that it has declared a first fiscal quarter (for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010) cash distribution of $0.4075 per share.
This distribution marks the Company's 20th consecutive quarterly increase. The ex-dividend date is Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The record date is Thursday, October 8, 2009. The payment date is Monday, October 19, 2009.
