I still think you do NOT understand the difference between mandatory spending and discretionary spending. You are trying to equate the two. I would be more than happy to cut by 50% anything else from the discretionary spending column that the defense budget is in. But trying to equate mandatory with discretionary spending shows that you do not understand the difference between the two.
