You do understand the difference between MANDATORY spending and DISCRETIONARY spending, don't you??? Defense spending is in the DISCRETIONARY BUDGET. And by far the largest piece of the pie. So again, since it's discretionary spending are you for cutting it by 50%???? Just for your information, the defense budget is 10x or MORE LARGER than any other part of our discretionary spending. I repeat MORE THAN 10x LARGER THAN ANY OTHER discretionary spending... Mandatory spending is considered social security, Medicare/Medicaid, unemployment/welfare, interest on national debt. Everything else is considered discretionary. The defense budget is discretionary and is 10x OR MORE larger than any other part. SO... are you for cutting it by 50%??? It'll still be 5x OR MORE larger than any other part but that alone will solve every freaking budgetary problem we have. So... are you in???

Oh and one more thing... even with a 50% defense budget cut, the U.S. will still be spending more than any other country. SO are you in????
