Maybe... but the biggest slice of the federal budget (and where your taxes go) is defense spending. Everything else pales by comparison. So if we want no defense, no roads, no services, no fire department, no police, no protection for the food supply, etc... then we could all go back to living in caves and not pay any taxes.
