<<I challenge you to find an actual SEC filing in which the term secondary offering is used in the manner described in Wikipedia rather than in the correct manner of meaning a sale of shares by a party other than the company itself.>>

"On April 27, 2004, Peoples Community Bancorp completed a secondary offering
of 1,365,674 shares of common stock. The net proceeds of the offering,
totaling approximately $26.8 million, have been used to fund Peoples
Community Bancorp's growth strategy and for general corporate purposes."

see page F-9 of this S-4 at http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1100983/000118811206001154/ts4-9355.txt

The offering referenced in this description was plainly a primary offering, see http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1100983/000104746904008479/a2131392z424b3.htm

I will admit, in 10 minutes of looking, this was the only example of this usage I found.
