One particular and just about only side effect that is observed is a severe skin rash occurring. The fact that a drug designed to target the signalling pathways for epidermal cell replication causes a skin rash tells you obviously that it may have a good chance of being useful.
Eribitux may not be the best or right answer for all cancers but if I had cancer I would try for my life to get on any clinical studies for it.
