IMF approves $436 mln in emergency aid to US

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- The IMF's executive board has approved $436 million in emergency post-bubble assistance for US's interim government, according to William Murray, a spokesman for the fund. The emergency funds come with fewer strings attached than a typical IMF economic program.
