With sincere apologies for posting the following without attribution or links, I thought these EVG related comments from today's SI Beat The Street With SI Traders board were worth repeating here. http://tiny.cc/H5OO2
".....we did know that there were lots of holes coming that would not be in high grade area."
"hole 12 was a continuation of high grade golds at bottom of hole...... just what we wanted as next drill holes will show higher grades"
"i'll guess hole 36 is huge hole"
"I am still looking at the spaghetti drill traces but I'll go with your thoughts on 36!!"
"They will and hopefully even surprise to the upside. If you look at Rattlesnake, it is a very big property. Check the "flyover" 3d presentation on EVG's website.
Whatever put the gold in there was a very big powerful deposition engine. There have been multiple phases of mineralized intrusions. The wallrock schist has been penetrated deeply and richly, that speaks of a strong and rich event. There is gold between the structures that was expected, having it right into that rock itself was a wonderful surprise.
Antelope which was being drilled for "halo" low grade bulk tonnage came up with grades of over 4 g/t, something more than spillover halo was going on. Now we have porphyry identified, which again underscores the size and scope of the events that have taken place and opens up more targets too. We have oxides, we have gold at surface, we have bulk tonnage, we have high grade, we have road access, we have local infrastructure, we have a good jurisdiction, we have money and management!!!
There is so much more to come from EVG, only the drills can tell us but I see absolutely nothing to date that tells me EVG is not having success at outlining an important gold deposit."
Q: "Can you drill all year around there? No restrictions?"
A: "Yes, if they want to spend the money, particularly for a water supply to the drills. They have also have to conduct an environmental review for any winter animal concerns or something like that. They are working on that issue even if they don't drill through the winter. Dr.Hennigh told me they want to drill as long as possible, into November if it goes well and then get the start up earlier in the spring, March/April. That's as much as I know right now. One thing is certain the assay pipeline will remain full until after the New Year."
"be interesting when EVG presents at Boston and New York next week and i'll guess we get a few holes then AGM... more holes sept 30"
"Sounds about right, we could get the 5 high grade holes over 2 releases which would not hurt any."
"Just speaking to one of the EVG ir gals who called me but she (honestly) has no idea when next holes are coming. Sweet girl but is public relations rather than deposit information specialist. I would guess next holes within 3 weeks and will hope for by Sept 28"
"Setting expectations cautiously won't hurt. I know EVG are finding turnaround at the lab slower than they were hoping."
