Realist,
Zeev has said many times that he never allocates more than 5-10% of his portfolio to any one stock. It is important to remember that he is wrong 40% of the time. That is not to say he isn't good at what he does. He is the very best.
A little background on Zeev. (forgive me for blowing your horn Zeev) Zeev grew up in a refugee camp in the Middle East. He didn't have a lot of time for education so he attended college without graduating from high school. It is my understanding that when he received his Doctorate in Nuclear Physics he also received his high school diploma at the same time. The man ain't suffering from a lack of well trained brain cells.
Zeev is an inventor by trade. Last time I counted, he held 11 patents. He probably holds more now. By definition, that makes him a tinkerer. He has more than 30 years experience tinkering at this game of stocks and I could retire quite nicely on the money he has lost while reaching his amazing level of ability.
We all are fortunate that Zeev is also a teacher at heart. He actually enjoys sharing his knowlege. Most brilliant right brain thinkers don't have time for rubes like us. <g
Zeev is a firm believer of Murphy's Law. In stock trading, if there is any way for the trade to go against you, it will. If the market has a choice of several ways to go against you, it will pick the very worst and go against you that way. Keep your stops close in this market. Never double up to get your money back. DON'T TRADE AT ALL UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND FULLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
Good luck to you.
