vegas: retailers just try to move stuff off the shelves. And that spng's product is on the "As seen on TV " shelve, it IS subject to more price flucuation that maybe an item in the regular section of the store, IMO. Plus, CVS probably does a market survey of other retail sell points in determining their price.
