Bush is an affront to educated people. He appeals to the ignorant and the self interested.
He is completely scripted even on the stump by Rove and RNC talking points. He reads his stump speech from a lectern and a notebook.
When he does attempt to speak extemporaneously he reveals himself as clueless.
While you are attacking "Bush Haters" , you should to be "fair and Balenced" take a look at Sean Hannity who is looking for dirt on Kerry and the liberals in every Kerry message and event.
Can we characterize Hanity as a Kerry Hater? He does this on his radio show as well. None of these Kerry haters discuss any substantive issues. Hanity tells the people that call into his radio show and criticize Kerry that they are "great american".
How is that for a little encouragement?
THe news media is largely in the control of Murdoch like groups as far as the WSJ, IBD, WP most of the radio stations (now owned by Clearstation), and the TV stations. The consolidation of the newsmedia in this country was accelerated under Bush. Of course the FCC, is being ruun by Colin Powell's son Micheal Powell. The powell family has now been co-opted by the Bushie perks. This is the same FCC that just fined CBS for the Jackson issue. No political bias in our government agencies.....<g>
The main place for independents such as myself to get any real news is off the internet and foreign newspapers.
