LOL even if a dog bit you square in the ass, you would be concerned about its pedigree. Take a break from your black/white world and see the shades of grey that the majority of people see.

If the preponderance of people like the idea of health care for the poor, but can't get a clear vision of what it looks like from the "leader", they balk.

The "blame" for the stalling of the health care proposal isn't some nasty daddy warbucks cheney-like figure in some back room. It is resultant from the common person not having the situation communicated clearly to them. Obama has to get off his ivy-league ass, stop talking vague generalities, and get real, get specific, and get on it, now.

He is still trying to sell the basic idea of health care with soaring rhetoric, rather than explaining exactly what health care means and what it will cost. Something that simple could turn the tide... but all that is happening is that his minions and supporters are turning nastier, and the opponents are gaining support. He better shift gears, and soon, if he is gonna make this work. Right now he is not resonating with the middle very well, but he still has a window of opportunity to fix it.
