The dark side of shorts and puts.

You have previously mentioned various times that you did not play shorts. Refresh my memory: was this because you had not had satisfactory results with shorting in the past?

Of course, I suppose there is a big difference between hedging with puts/shorts and "playing" them. Since this is what you are doing, perhaps you have not gone over to the dark side after all.

I haven't gotten any distribution exit signals (nor should I, for a short-term pull-back). However, based upon your indication of a top soon and the 9/14 and 9/16 advances on shrinking volume, I began exiting more risky positions last Thursday.
