I don't mind an alternative viewpoint, in fact I love counterarguments, because it either changes my mind, or allows me to strengthen my own argument. But when all you do is post articles and never engage in dialogue, you suddenly become less of a participant in the dialogue and more of an agenda-driven person.

There are several like him on both sides--left and right--and it's very annoying. I can't think of any reason to post on this board except to engage in good, honest debate and strengthen your opinions and your knowledge. I think guys like Rick are here for other reasons, and it's rather unfortunate.
