US-based Transmeta to volume produce 90nm-made Efficeon processors in 1Q 2005
Industry sources indicated that Transmeta is currently test producing the CPUs and Sharp Electronics (Taiwan), ECS and Quanta will be the chief customers. The new processor will target the low-end notebook market. [UDN.com, Sep 21]
