Eric and Penny are more likely mother son relationship, or an aunt, if they're even related at all. Penny's facebook profile suggests that a "James Racheff" is probably her husband. She's most likely in her 50's, if she studied in the 70s and helped her first doctor in '76.

His picture puts him in his mid to late thirties. I think this "connection" is a bit of a stretch. It could be a relation, maybe just share a common name. Tons of folks with my last name across the US, and we're probalby related, but I don't know 9/10 of them in any way!
