Hi Jeff. Yes, I agree there are lots of earnings games played, but mho is that QCOM is not among the more deceptive players. I've followed QCOM for a long time (since 1994) and found its management to be pretty straight, though they get bashed by some nevertheless. If they say they just now determined that they need to change accounting because of chaging circumstances, I have no reason to doubt.

I have no position here, either - was lucky last week and closed out a very nice $3 short, Friday at the open - now watching for re-entry. Long term, QCOM long really is a no-brainer, imho, but present price is still pretty stiff.
