Spinosaurus,

I'm not saying that "settling with shorts" would be their main objective. I'm only really offering this as an explanation for why the A/S is so high. The idea really is just that they probably would want to be prepared for this sort of an outcome in case they want to pursue it. If they don't have the A/S high, they won't have the option open.

Just trying to guess at reasons for stuff.
