spino - just jumping in and haven't read all of the previous posts but in response to "However, the $2 pps "settlement" with Hedges/brokers would basically leave us longs out in the cold".

I totally agree and would be extremely disappointed with a measly $2 after all of the hell the MMs have put us thru.
