the pic was still there in the one I looked at, so -- worked backward from how you'd posted the pic in the first place -- rt-click it and open 'Properties' -- the full url to the pic is there -- copy and paste that, including the 'http://', into the address line of a new tab or window (and if you just try that link, it takes you to a page with just that picture) -- edit it back to its first root, i.e. get rid first of the 'xxx.jpg' back to first slash, and try it; if that doesn't work (got a 'permission forbidden' with this one), then just edit the url back to the next slash and try; continue till you get a page to open -- had to do 2 such edits back to slash to get this one

re advanced search:

1) open http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/adv_search.aspx

2) select 'public message search' (the default selection) or 'private message search' (via the dropdown) and click 'go'

3) [continuing re public] make your selections -- 1 author (can only pick a favorite; 'all' gets all your favorite persons) -- and so forth through 2 recipient and 3 boards (same deal, only faves available) -- then fill out 4, 5 (you can leave that blank and search e.g. for all posts from you to another, or vice versa, on a given board or all your fave boards) and 6

4) click 'submit search'

a bit ungainly, but if you know what you're looking for, quite powerful
