JA Solar Holdings Co. (JASO:US) dropped 13 percent to $4.57 after sinking as much as 15 percent, the most intraday since March 30. The Chinese solar-cell manufacturer reported a second- quarter loss excluding some items that was twice as bad as the average analyst estimate amid fading demand for renewable energy.
