I have no problem spending our money on military defense and anti-terror operations. Without it, the tax cut means nothing if you lose your country, or we have another massive terrorist attack and the economy slips into a major recession.

I think instead of taxing people more, the government should be more responsible with its spending. We're spending way too much on social programs and foreign aid. At least with the military, they're finally spending money on something that directly affects my well being.
