the a/s is only relevent as far as it was a containment number. it is not important in the least with regard to the actual issued and outstanding.... i could care less what the a/s is. why do you think the company 8k'd the a/s with each increase? certain folks looked at that number as the truly legal number that they *expected* spng to dilute to.... only, spng never did. but some one leveraged that number in some very complicated trading algorithmes.... and that will hurt them in the end...
