Astonishing tidbit from PG’s CC today:

The average man in India changes razor blades once per year! Many Indian men get shaved at a barber shop where the barber creates two razors by splitting a dual-blade razor in half and re-using each half on multiple customers (a good way to spread hepatitis B and C).

Why did PG’s executives mention this? To highlight the large untapped demand in emerging markets for PG’s array of mundane consumer products, which falls right in with the raison d'etre of this board.
