Simplely put-

We need a settlement prior to WMI exited BK court. They only have 18 months.

Without a settlement, or the 4.4B liabilites are greater than assets. Normally when that is the case commons get cancelled in BK court.

This is that ALL or NOTHING play...like going to the Casino and putting all your money on one roll of the dice, with the best odds..
