How do you know that commons would be cancelled?

Are you insinuating that once there is a settlement, then WMI will no longer exist and would be taken over by JPM, thus a total payout of the preferreds, and cancelling the commons?

Everyone is assuming that they would get a full pay off but I do not see that happening unless the corporation was also being dissolved.

The stock prices may be restored to market prior to the BK but not to the full value at issue.

Now how does everyone figure that you will get full price? based on what? and leaving nothing for the corporation to conduct business i.e. acquisitions and or expenses of running the company. All monies collected will definitely not go to all share classes.

Pretty wild imaginations running here... all the granduer but with little logic to everyday operations and costs.
