I disagree .......I have NEVER liked a R/Split on ANY stock.
WHY?
Mainly because if you've been around the block enough times ...you see the same pattern over and over and over
The Pattern is >>>
CO. announces R/S (B-4 it happens),,,,just the anouncement and the cloud put over the stock creates weakness....because it scares the hell out of anyone who has a brain.I believe this is a contributing factor as to why the stock didn't run for the $1.00(at least break .70) after reporting good earnings and profitability this last Q. (If the AUG. 6 meeting goes in their favor and the NASDAQ gives AERT another 6 month extension WATCH the stock rise just because of it)
The pattern continued >>>
A stock does a R/S and immediately or within a few days ...the share price is usually halved to 50% value
..............................
How would AERT be different AND why I disagree >>>
Well they only have around 50 Million shares
A 1/10 R/S would put them at 5 Million shares O/S
A 1/20 R/S would put them at a measley 2.5 Million shares O/S
Now imagine for a moment a company that is professional and NOT some Fly by Night Penny stock operation....(a few hundred of those comes to mind)
Imagine a company that is profitable with only 2.5 or 5 million O/S
This is not a normal R/S situation that most are accustomed to.
AERT has NEVER been a share printing machine (not to my knowledge)In other words they aren't dumping shares into the market at an alarming rate, only to do a R/S and screw shareholders again and again and again (could name quite a few of those)
AERT has never done a R/S to my knowledge,,,,,,Anyone have a link that proves otherwise?
AERT is making headway in their market and expanding products and capabilites.Streamlining their operations.
They seem to be putting their past woes behind them and changes are occuring for the better.
Current O/S per latest filing >>>
