Yes, the Dog Days of summer are legendary, Ron...but what's happening in this area of Texas goes beyond just hot days.

Not only have crops failed but cattle are dying by the thousands. And the damage to homes (foundations) plus the loss of trees is akin to a major catastrophe.

There's not much that can be done at this stage except to pray for relief...
