These reports are always suspect in my way of thinking. Who, what, where, are these sales?
My limited informations would tell me..these are (Foreclosures)... being counted as ''sales''..yeah..sales to the mortgage holders (banks etc).. this is distorted info.. why don't the take OUT all foreclosures..and give us a realistic number..,, well it's up to us to do our due dill.. and subtract OUT all the foreclosures... then we might,,,I say might have a more realistic number...
Besides.. who can BUY, there's no loans available, or little to NONE.. Banks don't want to lend.. or if you have 8.00 fico and you put 60% down,,(related to their appraisal values) which are half of an independent appraisers value...
The current system is dorked!! Best to wait if you want to consider buying... jmho
