I went for an eye exam today and was required to sign their Privacy Notice which of course means that my records have no privacy. I declined since I was paying cash.

one use of my medical information was "disclosures for specialized governmental functions such as for the protection of the president or high ranking government officials; for lawful national intelligence activities; for military purposes..."

Good Grief. I hope they tell the military my eye sight is such that I shouldn't be recalled to active duty.

The Notice also said they have a right to change the notice anytime and any such changes will apply to all information they have even info they received before the change. And they don't have to tell you about the change, just post it in their office.

The America I knew is fast disappearing.

p.s., I'm sure terrorists would have no trouble getting an ID card
