I have posted this before but will again:

DrillBit's Mailbox Theory:

In my business, I have had a few folks take an interest in oil and gas wells. They would call me the day after we drilled in and ask, "Drill, what will that well do?"

I always stated, "I will know that answer after 1 year when I go to the mailbox and see my check/s".
