WTOP (WahingtonDC) running pro-12-yr-exclusivity ads on radio sponsored by biotech/pharma industry.

Clearly the ads are aimed at Congress.

They say that the cures for cancer, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, and other diseases depend on profits from current drugs.

It says words to the effect that getting rid of profits might destroy chances to cure cancer, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons. And consequently, having a 12-year-exclusivity is a GOOD thing.
